Accessibility statement
How this site is built, and what we have checked
This statement applies to liokaexporting.com. We want the site to be usable by as many people as possible, including anyone using a screen reader, a keyboard rather than a mouse, or a browser set to larger text.
What we have done
The site has been built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means:
- Every image carries a text description for screen readers
- Headings follow a logical order, with one main heading per page
- Every form field has a visible, associated label
- Text and background colours meet the contrast levels the guidelines require, including the gold used for accents and headings
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly outlined
- A skip link at the top of every page lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight to the content
- Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function
- Nothing moves, flashes or animates automatically, and the small transitions there are switch off if your device is set to reduce motion
- The site works with JavaScript disabled
How we tested it
The site has been checked page by page against the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. Colour contrast has been measured numerically for every text and background pairing in use rather than judged by eye. Heading structure, form labelling, image descriptions and keyboard operation have been reviewed on every page.
We have not yet carried out testing with users of assistive technology, and we have not commissioned an independent audit. We would rather say so than imply a level of testing we have not done.
Known limitations
We are not aware of any part of the site that fails the guidelines at the time of writing. If we become aware of something, we will list it here rather than quietly fix it and say nothing.
Documents supplied to buyers by email, such as specification sheets and certificates of analysis, are produced outside this website and may not meet the same standard. If you need any of that information in a different format, ask and we will provide it.
Telling us about a problem
If you find something on this site you cannot use, we want to know. Email info@liokaexporting.com with the page and what happened, and we will look at it.
If you need information from this site in another format, such as large print or plain text, tell us what you need and we will do our best to provide it.
Technical detail
The site is a static build. It carries no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, which means there is no consent banner to navigate before reading a page. Content is delivered as text in the page rather than assembled by script, so it is available to assistive technology and to search engines without anything having to run first.
